Featuring members from Alleycat Scratch (Robbi Black) and Champagne Suicide (Derek Kennedy), The Darlings left a nice scare on the Hollywood scene in the mid-90s. For a brief time, the band headlined sold-out shows at the Coconut Teaszer and various clubs throughout the Los Angeles area.

Armed with a female singer the likes of David Johansen, the band slammed out some serious sleazy punk in the vein of The New York Dolls and The Ramones.

We have managed to get our hands on a limited number of copies of the original Bomp Records pressing, which features a cover of Dogs D'Amour's "Chains" and the LA radio smash "Recovery."
